Die EOS ist als konsequent konisches Instrument konzipiert. Der konische Verlauf vom Mundrohr bis zum Schallbecher wird nur dort unterbrochen, wo der Hauptstimmzug ausgezogen wird — in den Zugrohren selbst bleibt die Konizität erhalten. Das Resultat ist ein in sich geschlossenes Klangbild ohne hörbare Brüche, mit warmer Tiefe und unmittelbarer Ansprache in allen Lagen.
The EOS is conceived as a consistently conical instrument. The conical taper from the leadpipe to the bell is interrupted only where the main tuning slide is extended — within the slide tubes themselves, the conical shape is preserved. The result is a coherent sound without audible breaks, offering warm depth and immediate response across all registers.
